What in the "World of Wonders" can you find through your Kansas Library Card today? Ever wonder how smaller and smaller computers are going to keep cool in the future. We have heard about the recall of many notebook computer batteries because of overheating. But did you know that there are new and exciting designs for cooling these ever smaller devices? - The picture is of my first balloon flight which was certainly a thrill! I researched balloon flight safety before I went and was glad that I did. I have my MLS from Emporia State University and have been part of the Kansas library community for more than thirty years now. During that time I have worked at KU and ESU, I have attended many Tri-Conferences and held leadership positions in several sections and roundtables. I honestly believe that librarians (especially Kansas librarians) are at the forefront of accepting and using technology to our communities' advantage. Yea US!
